CARS STOLEN AT GUN FROM GARAGE
4 New York reported that four cars were stolen from a Tribeca garage early last Thursday morning. I received the police report and the details were slightly different: On October 6th at 0353 hours, inside 270 Greenwich Street (SP+ parking garage in north Murray), four unidentified males entered the location, one male displayed a firearm, threatened the victims and proceeded to remove four vehicles (Audi S4, BMW X5M, Audi S5 and Land Rover Range Sport which were unlocked with a key inside) and fled northbound on West Street. No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
CLIMATE MUSEUM IS COMING TO SOHO
Gothamist reports that Climate Museum will have a pop-up in Soho through December 22 at 120 Wooster. The exhibition showcases artworks dedicated to climate change, along with a kid-friendly interactive studio where visitors can learn and take action to tackle global warming.
HAPPY EATING FOR ADULTS
NPR reports that McDonald’s will be serving happy meals for grown-ups until October 30th as a partnership with fashion streetwear brand Cactus Plant Flea Market. “One day you ordered a Happy Meal for the last time and you didn’t even know it,” McDonald’s said on its Facebook page earlier this month. But the fast food giant’s upcoming campaign will give adults a chance to return to a part of their childhood. The box comes with food and classic McDonald’s characters: Grimace, Hamburger, Birdie and newcomer Cactus Buddy.

Crain’s Reports that the Speaker of the City Council, Adrienne Adams, wants an end to street food – and outdoor cafes to return to the pavements. The permanent program was supposed to begin early next year, but was halted after the state Supreme Court ruled that the city must conduct a full environmental review before proceeding.
