Indianapolis – One person was taken to the hospital after a serious two-car crash in northeast Indianapolis early Friday morning.
One of the cars hit a utility pole, knocking out power to many in the area for more than an hour. First responders removed a man from the car. He was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, IMPD said.
Both directions of Shadeland Avenue in the area were blocked for about an hour but reopened around 5:30 a.m.
The crash is under investigation.
